2023: May 01 – October 16 (Daily)
This 2 days 1 night vineyards exploration and wine tasting tour enables you to have an in-depth on-site Okanagan wine culture experience with an experienced wine and eco tour guide. Okanagan is considered to have the highest vineyard density in the world in one region. During the fall season, it will be the best time for you and your loved ones to visit the Okanagan Valley to capture the romantic moment, explore different vineyards, do your wine tastings and fine dining on vineyard with magnificent lake view. In this tour, you will explore 6 wineries in two wine regions (Naramata Bench and West Kelowna) in the Okanagan Valley.
You will visit 3 wineries in the West Kelowna Region: Mission Hill Estates Winery, Quails’ Gate Estate Winery and Volcanic Hill Estates Winery (subject to availability; choices of wineries might be changed).
Volcanic soil makes highly aromatic and distinctive wines. Combine fresh mouth-watering acidity, saline or flinty-peppery minerality, and outstanding longevity. Truly a unique terroir and wine tasting experience.
Today, we will visit 3 wineries in the Naramata Bench Region: Polar Grove, Bench 1775, and Moraine Winery (subject to availability; choices of wineries might be changed).
The Naramata Bench bathed in sunshine with cooling lake breezes and optimal temperatures creates a premier grape growing region in Canada. The rolling hills and variable soils with a range of microclimates and terroir produce a variety of premium grapes – Reds include Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Malbec. Whites also thrive in the Naramata terroir including Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc.
We recommend all participants to bring raincoat, sunglasses, mosquito/insect repellent spray. Wear warm clothes as well as good outdoor shoes.
