Day 1Hosea Kutako International Airport - Windhoek

Welcome to Namibia! On arrival at the Hosea Kutako International Airport you will be met by your guide, who will assist you with currency exchange or withdrawals if needed. Afterwards, he will take you on a city tour of Windhoek before escorting you to your guesthouse.

  • Windhoek
    Situated in Central Namibia, the cosmopolitan city of Windhoek serves as the capital of the country. It is home to an international airport and a plethora of restaurants, shops, entertainment venues and accommodation options. The city is clean, safe and well-organised, with a colonial legacy that is reflected in its many German eateries and shops, and the widespread use of the German language. Windhoek has an interesting mix of historical architecture and modern buildings, many of which are worth a look, including the Alte Feste an old fort, the 1896 Christuskirche Christ Church, and the more contemporary Supreme Court.
  • The Windhoek Luxury Suites

Day 2Windhoek – Otjiwarongo

Today you will have breakfast before you depart to your next stop up north, you will head to Otjiwarongo to Otjiwa Lodge. Upon arrival you will be treated to an afternoon guided drive through the park.

    Set in the heart of Namibia’s Otjozondjupa region, Otjiwa Game Reserve spans 12,000 hectares of open bushveld, rolling plains and acacia-studded savanna. The reserve exudes a serene and private atmosphere, where wildlife roams freely, and the horizon stretches unbroken beneath vast African skies. Visitors can embark on guided game drives to spot giraffe, zebra, antelope and rhino, or enjoy walking safaris that reveal the subtle rhythms of the bush. Day 3Otjiwarongo – Etosha South

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll set off for your next destination in the Etosha National Park. Here you will be treated to a true wildlife paradise upon your arrival at Etosha Safari Camp. After settling in, your guide will take you on a safari drive through the renowned Etosha National Park! The offering of a chance to see both common and rare species, from the famous Big 5 to over 340 bird species the park is a haven for avian life.

  • Etosha South
    Located just south of the boundary of Etosha National Park in northwestern Namibia, Etosha South makes up the southern region of this wild paradise. The area is comprised of a collection of world class private game reserves. The national park can be accessed via the southern entrance at Andersson’s Gate. Visitors can catch a glimpse of a variety of wildlife including: lion, giraffe, elephant, white and black rhino, and a multitude of plains game. Day 4Etosha South

This morning you will be up bright and early for a full day safari drive in the Etosha National Park in your touring vehicle.

Day 5Etosha South – Etosha Heights Private Reserve

After breakfast you will depart to your next lodge, bordering the Etosha National Park further north. You will have an opportunity to take in more of the scenery on this drive. Upon arrival at Mountain Lodge, you will have an opportunity to rest and freshen up to prepare for a sundowner drive.

    Set just outside the south-western border of Etosha National Park, Etosha Heights Private Reserve offers enthralling landscapes, a huge variety of flora and fauna, and a wide range of thrilling activities. Vast savannah, rivers, forests, Mopani woodland, salt pans and dolomite hills spread themselves over the 60,000-hectare area. Numerous safaris and game drives offer the chance to see kudu, lion and the elusive mountain zebra (in the hills) and sable, black-faced impala, giraffe, aardvark, elephant and many more (around the waterholes). Visitors can also take night drives and bush picnics. A double-storey photography hide allows close-up encounters with an incredible diversity of gorgeous birdlife and animal life. Fantastic luxury facilities are provided by the accommodation options.

  • Etosha Mountain Lodge
    Etosha Mountain Lodge, set in its own Reserve, is designed in the typically Namibian style with beautiful far-reaching views from the dolomite hill on which it stands. The design is characterised by wood and stone interiors with relaxed soft furnishings. Its high roofed, round thatch buildings boast a large ‘Lapa’ area with a well-stocked bar, a lounge with DSTV and in-door fire-place for those chilly winter evenings, a small but plentiful curio shop, reception with Wi-Fi access and lastly the comfortable, spacious dining room. Outside on the large wooden decked area is a refreshing swimming pool, out-door ‘Boma’ and abundant wine cellar.

Day 6Etosha Heights Private Reserve

Very early morning today, to go out for a morning drive through the Park. Thereafter, you will have some breakfast and enjoy the rest of your day at your own leisure exploring what Mountain Lodge has to offer in scenery and activities.

    Set just outside the south-western border of Etosha National Park, Etosha Heights Private Reserve offers enthralling landscapes, a huge variety of flora and fauna, and a wide range of thrilling activities. Vast savannah, rivers, forests, Mopani woodland, salt pans and dolomite hills spread themselves over the 60,000-hectare area. Day 7 & Day 8Etosha Heights Private Reserve – Damaraland

Today, your journey takes you into the heart of Damaraland, a land of rugged beauty and breathtaking landscapes. Your destination is Ozondjou, a name derived from the Herero word for elephants, a fitting choice, as the camp is located near the base of the Elephant Human Relations Aid (EHRA). More than just a place to stay, this camp directly supports EHRA’s conservation efforts while also contributing a portion of its income to local farmers, fostering harmony between people and wildlife. Here, you’ll experience not only the natural wonders of Damaraland but also the meaningful coexistence between humans and the majestic desert-adapted elephants that roam this extraordinary region. You will have the opportunity to take in the beauty of Damaraland over the next two days in the midst of the gentle giants.

  • Brandberg
    Situated in northwestern Namibia, the Brandberg, meaning ‘Fire Mountain’, Massif is Namibia’s highest peak, at its zenith, the Königstein (King’s Stone), standing at a whopping 2573 metres above sea level. Named for the vivid shade of orange it sometimes turns at sunset, this is undoubtedly the main highlight of the region. The Brandberg has been sacred to the San people for centuries. The Tsisab Ravine at its base is permeated with over 45 000 ancient San rock paintings, including the famous ‘White Lady’. Visitors flock here to view this unique bushman painting, said to be over 2000 years old. Other popular drawcards include its untouched natural beauty and its free-roaming wildlife such as mountain zebra, kudu, springbok, and desert elephant.

  • Ozondjou Trails
    The intimate Ozondjou Trails is erected on a small plateau and offers magnificent panoramic views over the Ugab and the massive Brandberg. Ozondjou is the Herero word for elephants. Accommodation is in comfortable meru-style tents with solar lights, en-suite shower, wash basin and flushing toilet. A tented lapa is used as a dining room and lounge. An English breakfast and a 3-course dinner prepared on the fire pit are included. Local beverages are included in your stay.

Day 9Damaraland - Swakopmund

Depart to the coastal town of Swakopmund! You will travel via Uis towards the Cape Cross where you will see the seal colonies, after visiting the seals you proceed to a small holiday resort, Henties Bay and further on to visit the lichen fields near Wlotzka’s Baken. You will arrive in Swakopmund and be taken to your accommodation at Organic Stay Guesthouse.

Day 10Swakopmund

Your morning starts from the Walvis Bay Waterfront and is filled by an abundance of bird and mammal life, pelicans and seals up close. Here you will board a catamaran that will take you on a journey tin search of dolphins and other marine life. Delight in the fresh sea air and the abundance of bird and mammal life, pelicans and seals up close. You will be transferred back to Swakopmund for an afternoon at your leisure.

Today you’ll set out early with your guide to witness the breathtaking views over Dune 45, capturing stunning photos of the golden sands. You will continue to the iconic Deadvlei, a surreal landscape of ancient, sun-scorched camel thorn trees set against a backdrop of towering red dunes. After taking in this incredible scenery, you’ll enjoy a delicious picnic under a shaded tree before heading to the awe-inspiring Sesriem Canyon. The afternoon is yours to relax—whether that means taking a dip in the lodge’s pool or simply soaking in the tranquil desert surroundings.

Day 13Sossusvlei – Kalahari Namibia

There’s nothing quite like feeling the earth beneath your feet, so take time to stretch your legs on the lodge’s scenic trails. Keep your eyes peeled for springbok, zebra, and wildebeest, and embrace the raw beauty and energy of this unique region, connecting with the land in a way only the Kalahari can offer. As the sun begins to set, embark on a sunset drive through the Gondwana Kalahari Park. Here, you’ll witness gemsbok roaming freely and marvel at the enormous sociable weaver nests perched atop camelthorn trees.

  • Kalahari Namibia
    Spreading across Botswana, South Africa and Namibia, the Kalahari meaning ‘the great thirst’ is an exceptionally beautiful living desert. The landscape is characterised by a large semi-arid sandy savannah draped over a gently rolling inland sea of sand covering most of Botswana and large parts of Namibia and South Africa. It is also the last bastion of the indigenous San people with the modern world having enveloped all the other areas they once roamed. The Namibian portion is made up of red sands covered in thin, wispy, mostly golden grass and dotted with acacia trees and wide-ranging wildlife including gemsbok, impala, jackals and cheetah.
