Your tour begins with a scenic drive along the Sea-to-Sky Highway that links Metro Vancouver with Whistler. First visit the beautiful seaside village of Horseshoe Bay, located in West Vancouver with a community of about 1,000 residents. Continue to Shannon Falls, the third highest waterfall in British Columbia. Originating from the alpine massif below Sky Pilot Mountain and the Stadium Glacier, Shannon Creek tumbles some 335m down, over granite cliffs, to the valley below.
Next it is on to the Sea to Sky Gondola (admissions excluded). Board the gondola to the top to soak up the panoramic perspectives of Howe Sound cradled by the Coast Mountains. Don’t miss the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge and walk along forest trails to the observation platforms.
